As I mentioned earlier, I think it would be a good idea to include some sanity checks in the editing code. For example, if the edit would double or halve the size of the article, it probably shouldn't make the edit, but instead record the page in an error log.

Any idea what might have triggered it? I don't see anything obviously problematic in the WikiText.
