Description

Steps to reproduce:

Create a table on VE
Select an entire row or column.
Click delete
Instead of deleting the highlighted row/column, the whole table gets deleted.

Do you mean the "Delete" button in the table context:

If so, that's intentional; to delete the column you have to click the column control (the V).

Maybe we re-label it to "Delete table" but that would be very anti-mobile (size/space) and duplicative of the label to the left of it. Perhaps a different design?

This should either be declined if no changes are planned or open if this is valid feedback about a potentially confusing string.
Boldly reopening as a duplicate has been merged into this task bringing up the same issue.
