Unauthorized tasks on test instance phab-01
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I see three four test tasks on the test Phabricator with psuedo-Latin, two attributed to me even though I did not create them:

Does anyone know what is going on here?

I've changed my password there.

@Paladox Do you know what is going on here?

If you hover over the timestamp, it says the task has been created "Via Lipsum":

lipsum appears to be a Phabricator maintenance script to generate synthetic test data. Looks like it will indeed generate tasks with random registered users as authors and subscribers (PhabricatorManiphestTaskTestDataGenerator).

Thanks, @matmarex . Didn't notice that.

That is confusing. It would be better to create its own users for that.

@greg nope, but I found it strange.

Apologies for the confusion! I ran the lorem ipsum generator to create some test data. It is not anything to be alarmed about

I didn't realize it would attribute the test data to real users.

We are testing elasticsearch, and he wanted to test it out.

We have elasticsearch 2 installed, see T146843
