Explore making WDQS access mediawiki API

Description

Mediawiki API allows to retrieve data which may be useful in queries but not easily accessible. For example, categories hierarchy:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:ApiSandbox#action=query&format=json&list=categorymembers&cmtitle=Category%3AParking+facilities&cmtype=subcat

It may be useful to access such queries from WDQS to combine them with Wikidata data. Some research is needed on feasibility and specific design.
