Description

When you create an account at Commons, the Wikimedia Commons Welcome bot transcludes a message on your talk page.

Does anybody read it? Does anyone click on the links in it? Does it change anyone's behavior? Specifically, does that message prevent copyright violations?

I don't see a pressing need for this for the Multimedia team, if someone else thinks it's more important and can actually make progress on it, feel free to reprioritize.
