There is a message left to the new user through robots. However the information about the message on the talk page is not listed in the notifications? Why it is not displayed. I can see a greetings without any links.

Event Timeline

@Dineshkumar - please confirm if I understood correctly the issue you filed:

On tawiki a new user

  • receives a standard 'Welcome to Wikipedia!' notification. This notification is not a link to anything, which is also a slight problem if a user views this notification in a foreign wiki: the user cannot easily go to the wiki from which 'Welcome' notification came.
  • User talk page is created automatically and some content is added

The last event - User talk page has automatically added content - does not trigger any notification.

The reason of not sending any additional notifications is that

  • other wikis do not create a User talk page for a new user automatically
  • a new content is not always added to new User talk pages

The issue will be priortized in our next Triage meeting.

@Etonkovidova : Exactly. This is the situation. Kindly prioritize. Thanks.
