Rollback links are easy to accidentally click, particularly on touch devices such as an iPhone or an iPad. I've hidden rollback links using user subpage CSS for years. MusikAnimal wrote https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:MusikAnimal/rollbackTouch.js, which seems smarter. This script or something similar could be incorporated into MediaWiki core.

I thought there was already an open task about investigating the usability issues with rollback links, but the closest task I could find is T3893: Show a message after rollback has completed.
