Update REL1_27 branch to current master

Description

REL1_27 does't work with MediaWiki 1.27 but current master apparently does. At this time current master is rECMTf8e153c54438.

Please backport necessary commits so 1.27 works, or set REL1_27 to current master.

I have no clue how to do that (properly), so patches welcome.

That being said, despite not being documented on the MW.org info page or somesuch, the branched REL_1_xx versions of any and all extensions in the social tools family maintained by me are not supported, period. The only supported combination is master version of the desired extension(s) + either latest stable MW or the version of MW used by ShoutWiki, whichever is older, should these two differ for whatever reason. This is and has been the case for years, although it seems we've once again run into bug #1 a.k.a "docs suck, fix 'em".

Feel free to close it as wontfix. I just reported it in case it's supposed to work as all other extensions.
