- Create a topic, perform some actions - e.g. rename the title, add summary, resolve.
- Delete the topic.
- Go to View history and click on the topic link in the actions that are done before deleting the topic: e.g. in the screenshot such link is in a red rectangle.
Note: Resolve topic action does not indicate that the topic was subsequently deleted - notice that there is no cross-out over the timestamp.
- The topic permalink will be displayed and either 'Summarize' or 'Edit summary' option will be available.
- Click on 'Summarize' option and enter some text. When click on 'Update summary' - the error message appears:
An error occurred. The error message received was: vtspermissions
The error message is misleading - there is no additional permission/rights require to post summary to deleted topics.
Compare to clear error message on deleted topics when the premalink was open (in different tab/window) but the topic was deleted or when a user attempt to post on a deleted topic:
