Create a tutorial: Confluence to MediaWiki migration guide
Open, MediumPublic

Description

In one of the last meetings, we planned to create a MediaWiki to Confluence migration guide. Let's do this on MediaWiki.org.

Event Timeline

Should the task description say "Confluence to MediaWiki migration guide"?

Osnard renamed this task from Create a tutorial: How to migrate from Confluence to MediaWiki to Create a tutorial: Confluence to MediaWiki migration guide.Nov 25 2020, 8:42 AM

I have started to publish our internal scripts at https://github.com/hallowelt/migrate-confluence
Unfortunately it's not completed yet.

Update: the tool mentioned above is now completed. There is a description of the migration process available on the README.md file

I Osnard, Thanks for that script. I try to use it, but I'm not sure how. I tried to create a PHAR using "box", but when I do a "box compile" I get the following error:
In Assert.php line 1002:

The file "/home/user123/migrate-confluence/vendor" does not exist.

If I try to use directly "migrate-confluence" under /bin folder, I get errors about /vendor/autoload.php not found.

I think it miss /vendor folder in your repo?

Thanks!
