Hi @Mbrt, thanks for taking the time to report this! Please follow the instructions how to report a bug and describe the actual problem in the summary instead of just writing "Problem". :)

But now I see only at mediawiki if I visit mediawiki.

Do you mean https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Notifications ? If not, which URL do you refer to?
Does "But now" mean that on https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Special:Notifications , you could see notifications from other Wikimedia sites in the past?

Aklapper renamed this task from Problem with notifications to Special:Notifications on mediawiki.org does not show notifications from other Wikimedia sites.Nov 8 2016, 11:57 PM

@Aklapper yes, before, I see the notifications from wikimedia project(wikipedia, wikibooks, etc.) but, now, if I visit mediawiki and see at Special:Notifications, I only see notifications only about mediawiki. Not all wikimedia project.

Mbrt triaged this task as Unbreak Now! priority.Nov 9 2016, 9:12 AM
Aklapper lowered the priority of this task from Unbreak Now! to Needs Triage.Nov 9 2016, 2:08 PM

@Mbrt: The priority of this task got increased. As priority reflects reality and does not cause it, please elaborate why this task is more urgent than other tasks on the project workboard.
Please do not change priority if it does not confirm with Setting Task Priorities. Resources of teams are limited when it comes to working on requests. We want to be realistic about communicating what is being worked on, to maximize the impact of changes. Practically, this often unfortunately means assigning a low priority to many tasks.
If the priority was increased because you plan to work on this task please claim the task by setting yourself as assignee. Thank you for your help!

@Mbrt Can you confirm that you have unread notification in other projects?

The Special:Notifications page left panel shows only unread notifications from other wikis. If there are no unread notifications from other wikis, Special:Notifications page won't display any notifications from other wikis.

@Etonkovidova Yes I have notifications in other project. I like "special:notifications" can be installed in Version 1.28. It have I see all notification in other project at only one page in mediawiki Userpage. Shouldn't go ahead find notifications in other project.

@Mbrt: What is the other project exactly where you have unread notifications?

@Mbrt - for some reason your comment is displayed three times.

In mediawiki version 1.29 - I can see cross-wiki notifications displayed.

If you still have the problem with cross-wiki unread notificaitons not being displayed in mediawiki, can you provide the following information

  • check if in mediawiki, Preference-Notifications Cross-wiki notifications 'Show notifications from other wikis' is enabled
  • specify your user name with which you are logged in
  • specify from which wikis the notifications are not displayed
  • make sure that you have unread notifications from other wikis

@Etonkovidova @Aklapper Done I already show all notifications Thank you

Nothing was fixed in the code base here, hence changinf from "resolved" to "invalid".

@Mbrt: For future reference, please follow https://mediawiki.org/wiki/How_to_report_a_bug and provide separate sections for

  • Steps to reproduce (as a list of clear steps)
