This task will act as a proof of concept for T150370. Namely, this task requires a separate calculation of zero results rate for searches made by "well-behaved searchers" and then surfacing that ZRR on the search metrics dashboard.

Event Timeline
@TJones & @Deskana: for this, do you want the overall ZRR from well-behaved searches or broken down in some way? e.g. type (completion suggester vs full-text) or wiki? (In which case it would be added to https://discovery.wmflabs.org/metrics/#langproj_breakdown
Change 353162 had a related patch set uploaded (by Bearloga; owner: Bearloga):
[wikimedia/discovery/golden@master] [WIP] Add ZRR from well-behaved searchers
D'oh—vacation + offsite + hackathon = delay.
I don't want to ask for too much, but I would be most interested in a breakdown by wiki, but completion suggester vs full-text would be a close second!
I can't think of any other way I'd want to slice it at the moment.

Reason:
Not likely to get back to this :\
We won't be able to get back to this additional work—but hey!—check out this cool dashboard where we can look at things like the Azerbaijani wikipedia and their ZRR for the last 30-ish days:
