Add "Previous page" link to additional results pages at Special:PrefixIndex
Open, Needs TriagePublic

Description

In Special:PrefixIndex results, if we go to the "Next page (...)", there is no link to the "Previous page (...)" at the top.

This causes these problems:

  • harder to navigate
  • inconsistent with Special:AllPages
  • sharing a link to results beyond the first page will be less useful

Example:

In contrast, Special:AllPages does have this useful function:

Obviously, we cannot have a Previous page (...) link on the first page of PrefixIndex results, because it is a limited listing. But we should have it on subsequent pages.

The fisrt Page, then I click the 'Next Page'.

The second Page, I want to go back to the Food but where the 'Previous page'?
That is the problem.

I came to Phab just now to report this, believing it was a new bug, and was surprised to find out it is already 6 years old. What needs to be done to fix this?
