Investigate high second view Speed Index for Firefox
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

The first view Speed Index got higher the 11 and now when we also measure second view (hit start and then go to the Facebook page) the Speed Index for second view seems really high:

For some runs we get the "Wikipedia Asian month" banner, that can make the SpeedIndex higher.

Also the First Byte are again unrealistic: 0.032s that's something that's wrong in WebPageTest, lets create an issue for that. But that will not explain the high SpeedIndex.

Created an issue in WebPageTest https://github.com/WPO-Foundation/webpagetest/issues/768 but there must be something else going on for the high SpeedIndex.

We still have the issue with the TTFB: http://wpt.wmftest.org/result/170704_29_B3/1/details/#waterfall_view_step1
I've updated the Github thread.

The Speed Index for that page has been going down and the second view Speed Index seems much more reasonable now:

And this is what it looks like for first view (hope that last run will continue on that low level):

The original issue seems gone so I'll close this but updated the Github issue about the TTFB.
