Documentation for Open Source design tools
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

We try to work together with community members as much as possible on design related tasks. In order for everyone to contribute we only use open source tools.

Unfortunately we're lacking a documentations on the tools we use, what they're used for and where to get them among other things...

We would like you to create such a page following these steps:

  1. if you don't already have an account for any of the Wikimedia projects, make a user account on https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/
  2. Create a subpage "Open Source Design Tools" of your user page like so https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:yourUsername/Open_Source_Design_Tools
  3. On this page, similar to this page for example, set up a structure to accommodate for the documentation of the open source design tools.
  4. The tools we need documentation for are: Inkscape, Scribus, draw.io, Krita, Gimp, Libre Office draw and Pencil.
  5. Every Software should have a description of what kind of work it is good for, where to download it, on which operating systems it runs and 1 or 2 screenshots.
  6. When you're done please post a link of the documentation page.
