We try to work together with community members as much as possible on design related tasks. In order for everyone to contribute we only use open source tools.
Unfortunately we're lacking a documentations on the tools we use, what they're used for and where to get them among other things...
We would like you to create such a page following these steps:
- if you don't already have an account for any of the Wikimedia projects, make a user account on https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/
- Create a subpage "Open Source Design Tools" of your user page like so https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:yourUsername/Open_Source_Design_Tools
- On this page, similar to this page for example, set up a structure to accommodate for the documentation of the open source design tools.
- The tools we need documentation for are: Inkscape, Scribus, draw.io, Krita, Gimp, Libre Office draw and Pencil.
- Every Software should have a description of what kind of work it is good for, where to download it, on which operating systems it runs and 1 or 2 screenshots.
- When you're done please post a link of the documentation page.
