Description

When there are too many custom filter links in the sidebar, the entire page becomes scrollable, breaking the main workboard layout.

What problem does this create? Because I don't see one and I'd call this expected behavior, if you don't want upstream to implement a custom scrollbar for the bar on the left to avoid the scrollbar for the entire page...

My thinking was that from a design perspective, making the sidebar scrollable is far preferential to being able to scroll past the bottom of the workboard.

If you expand the sidebar then it takes up less vertical space.

After the 2017-02-08 this is less likely to happen as items in the sidebar take less vertical space. It can still happen though:


However I don't see a particular problem with this behavior and I don't think that yet another scrollbar in the middle of the page helps anyone, hence I'm boldly declining.
