The design in T143121 calls for a "Translate missing templates" link: "The template card may include a link to "translate missing templates" to lead the user towards the process of providing the mapping information for this kind of templates if such process exist (as part of CSX or separate tool)."

This was not implemented, and I couldn't find details about how this is supposed to work, but this sounds like a beginning of a good idea. Filing this as a follow-up of that big task, which is otherwise largely done.
