Description

To reproduce:

Open up GUI editor
Click add a new parameter
Insert name of an alias and press add

Parameter doesn't get added, but nor is there any error or a return to the main dialog. Ideally we should have an error, like, "this parameter is already present as an alias" or somesuch.
