[Spike] Should we integrate JADE with Flow?
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

A threaded discussion system would be the ideal medium for human-provided critique. People will want to respond to each other's notes, and should be encouraged to do so.

Flow provides a well supported, wiki-integrated environment in which we can hold threaded discussions.

I just posted https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:Tzw0uv2bucrdprm4 which describes a workflow that involves a "discussion post". I was imagining a flow topic. So I made another post specifically about using Flow boards. https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Topic:Tzw3qg8qiqow10d8

We've decided to use talk pages and leave the coupling very loose, just that a Jade page is 1:1 with a Jade_talk page, with no additional structure. Whether or not the talk pages use Structured Discussions is entirely up the discretion of each wiki's community.
