I don't think this will be processed. I think much better will be to rename the shortcuts to WQ prefix and this WQ will be set as an alias for Wikiquote namespace.

@Urbanecm Vikidia is a project that is useless to have linked on Catalan Wikiquote (it's a general encyclopedia in French). And if we needed it we could use the vikidia: interwiki which is already set.

Actually some of the VD shortcuts were already renamed to WQ a while ago, but we prefer to use VD since it's a short name for "Viquidites" (in the same way as VP is a shortcut in Catalan Wikipedia and VL in Catalan Wikibooks, and not WP and WB).

Yes. The interwiki was added without checking for possible conflicts. I've
already raised the issue days ago at the interwiki map talk page and
at T152793. I'll remove it but it needs db-sync to get that done. It is not
only conflicting at ca.wikiquote but also at en.wiktionary and other
projects where vd: was being used for something else.

If the interwiki vd: will be removed from all projects, I don't have objections. But per-wiki changes are bad idea in interwikis I think.
