PayPal recurring flow is not mobile optimised

The PayPal page is not designed for mobile devices, and is a poor experience:

Fr-tech: are we using the correct code here? Hard to believe they would optimize one flow and not the other... Let me know if you need help digging through and contact them.

I have emailed PayPal about it, looks like a change on their end.

Unfortunately nothing we can do about this. From the rep: "I apologize for the inconvenience, but at the present time there is no mobile-optimized recurring payment checkout flow. The flow you are seeing is the only one available for recurring payments."

The good news is that Express Checkout appears to have a more mobile-friendly recurring flow e.g. https://donate.everytown.org/donate/support-everytown-t1/
