Description

Steps to reproduce:

Create a new page, in visual editor mode.
Open the notification modal pop-up before the editor finishes loading.
Close the pop-up.

It looks like the editor finished initializing, but the page content is gray and immutable.

FF 45.6.0

I can't reproduce this. Is it on a specific page? Do you see any errors in your console?

I can't reproduce this in either Safari or Firefox 50. @awight, what's your OS?
