When I successfully save a section (I've had this occur in talk spaces at least) and click any other section edit button on the same page (have not tested with top button), I get shown a view which appears after several looks to be the wikitext-as-HTML view.

OK, I've now spent ~20 minutes searching for the phantom task over two days, and I can't find it. Marking as Resolved, but please re-open if you can re-produce now. Really sorry about the breakage.
I think you did. However, now I'm getting a similar problem: When my default editor is NWE, I get dropped into VE after attempting a new edit instead of NWE.
Not broken per se, but not ideal.
Not exactly a fix. :D
