Coordinator EmailUser link should open Meta in user's language
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Currently if you click the Special:EmailUser button for a partner's coordinator, it goes to the coordinator's home wiki's email page, meaning the page is written in their language. Desired behaviour would be for it to point to the viewing user's home wiki, so it is definitely in a language they understand.

Meta Special:EmailUser would I guess be the fallback if the user isn't logged in when they click?

Let's put a pin into this one and see what the behavior is when we migrate everyone to global ids. I think we'll start hitting meta for everything.

Now goes to meta, which has a language link at the top.

We can work with this, to pass a ?uselang= parameter based on the user's language and ensure that meta is in the right language.

Meta is already in the user's Meta language, so I don't actually see a need to overwrite that.
