It is a good strategy to only upload a few images initially (around 10 or so) and then inspect them to identify any mistakes before uploading the rest of the media files. It is also suggested that you try to pick a representative mixture of files from the current batch. Continue doing small uploads until you are happy with the result.
- Perform the first minor upload.
- Visually inspect the results.
- Ask partners/<GLAM>/community for feedback.
Things to look for: (1) Exif data does not contradict other information (e.g. copyright); (2) The right media file was uploaded with the right description; (3) The syntax is correct in the wikitext; (4) The colour profile is correct (i.e. image does not have a purple/blue/red tone); (5) Transparencies are correct (e.g. the white background is not black)
