Expire time on 404 is too high (Wikipedia)

Currently expire date on HTTP requests for Wikipedia for non existence pages is too high (31 days) which makes crawlers not to find created articles too soon.

Can you please specify which HTTP header(s) you're referring to and provide an example URL?

Ideally, exact and clear steps to reproduce should allow any other person to follow these steps (without having to interpret those steps) and see the same results.
