Make autosummary for multiple revision undos
Open, LowestPublic

Description

Multiple revision undos would also benefit from an automatic summary. FlaggedRevs does this already when rejecting edits, see RejectConfirmationFormUI class.

@Cenarium: good first task tasks are self-contained, non-controversial issues with a clear approach and should be well-described with pointers to help the new contributor. Given your current short task description I'm removing the good first task tag.
Please re-add the good first task tag once the task description has been polished and provides sufficient information for a new contributor. Thanks!

@Aklapper Ok, thanks for the heads-up. I'm not sure yet if I'll rewrite the task description or simply make a patch myself.

I agree.

Multiple revision undo is rare since it doesn't occur on history or contribs pages, but occurs on diff pages, so it can still come in handy to have this.

Current behavior
 • One revision undos have a default edit summary of something like Undid revision 123 by Username (talk)
 • Multiple revision undos have a blank default edit summary
Proposed new behavior
 • Multiple revision undos should have the edit summary Undid multiple revisions. This is similar to the one revision undo default edit summary, which is more intuitive behavior than it being blank. This can also be incremental progress towards more detail later, if that is desired.
