Burndown chart ends on incorrect day
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

Maybe this is a timezone issue?
If you set the sprint to end on (for example) wednesday at 12:00AM, the chart runs to Thursday. If you set it run to Wednesday at 11:00PM, the chart runs to Friday.
Shouldn't the chart stop on whatever day the sprint stops?

Event Timeline

Hi @Rbalik, thanks for taking the time to report this!
Unfortunately this report lacks some information. If you have time and can still reproduce the problem, please add a more complete description to this report plus exact version information for Phab and the extension. Ideally, exact and clear steps to reproduce should allow any other person to follow these steps (without having to interpret those steps) and see the same results. Problems that others can reliably reproduce can get fixed faster. Thanks!

Sure, so we're on:
Phabricator: a439ea7190f (2/17)
Extension: 7a7368cd21 (2/9)

Setup a sprint project that starts on Feb 23 at 12:00AM and goes until Wednesday March 8 at 11:30 PM.

Click on the burndown chart and you'll see that it ends on Friday instead of Wednesday.

This is in Central Time in case that helps.

@Aklapper just bumping this for you since I added a little more information.

Thanks for providing that info, it might help anybody who might be interested in investigating the reasons for this behavior!

The Phabricator-Sprint-Extension is not under active development anymore and is unmaintained. It is about to be archived (see T275325). Reflecting reality by declining this ticket.
For the records, in the Wikimedia Phabricator installation, reports and charts have been customized (see e.g. https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/project/reports/5/ ).
