List view presentation tweak
Currently the list view on the iPad has some spacing issues.
Below are two potential design solutions:
Modal presentation
A short term fix could be to present the list view as more of a modal:
Floating list / search area
A more iPad specific fix would be to present the list of articles and search on the same screen as the map.

Floating list resizing
Users can resize the floating area by pulling up or down on the bottom of the floating list.
The list will snap to three sizes:
- Just search bar
- Search bar and three articles (default)
- Full height
Thumbnail pin presentation tweak
We should show image pins at a higher zoom levels (that is we can show the image based pins even "zoomed out" since there is more space for them. Right now I have to zoom quite a bit to get them to show on the big iPad screen.
