Based on that change https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/340541/, I've tried <math>, <hiero>, <score>, <syntax>, <source> and <ref> shortcuts on https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org

When I type <ref, the shortcut is working but has troubles after:

automated field
The field is working, I can write a URL and generate a reference. I can't insert that reference, the "insert" button is not working.
Plus, the tooltip now follows my pointer. I can't switch to wikitext mode. The only option is to cancel the change an loose the whole message I was typing.

manual fields
When I click on the different manual options, they don't open.

Other information
It is possible to edit a reference added manually, via the wikitext editor.
Done on Chromium 55.0.2883.87, running on Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit)
