Closed, InvalidPublic

Description

Add don't move to commons template to appropriate templates

  • Use wikidata to find the "Don't move to commons" templates in the respective wiki language
  • Ask the respective community to add our "do-not-move-to-commons" template to the template so that the link for moving will be disactivated when appropriate

Add "moved to commons" template to moved image on wikipedia

  • Are there different ones for each language?

@JStrodt_WMDE we're currently thinking if this might be still relevant for communications around going default. Let's talk about it in person.

As mentioned I talked with @JStrodt_WMDE about this issue. The information in here is somewhat deprecated. The ticket assumes that imports are allowed by default. So the measurements above should make sure that wikis that get the feature enabled do not import media that they should not. The current default is a bit different.

Currently the import is blocked if there's no configuration for the source wiki and if the image on the source wiki does not contain a template that explicitly allows the import. Therefore it can be assumed no other actions need to be taken to make sure an invalid import happens.
