@notify command should be able to take more than one argument
Closed, DeclinedPublic

When you want to get notification for few people, you need to type @notify few times. This makes mess in chat, so option to take few arguments would be helpful.

<eddiegp> @notify eddiegp1 eddiegp2
<wm-bot> I will let you know when I see eddiegp1 and I will deliver that message to them

By now it seems everything after the username is send as a message to the user when (s)he appears next. After running the command as shown in the description, I logged in as eddiegp1, and got

[19:10] <wm-bot> Hi eddiegp1, eddiegp was looking for you and wanted me to tell you this when you are here: eddiegp2

as a private message from wm-bot directly after joining #wikimedia-dev

yes that's how it works, first parameter is name of person, rest is a message to deliver. if you want more people and not spam in channel, you can use @notify in private message to wm-bot
