Since enwiki betalabs does not have patrol functionality for edits (only for new pages) and the setting 'Hide patrolled pages from new page list' in 'Preferenes-Recent changes' has no filtering effect on new pages marked as to be patrolled on RC page, the setting should be removed from 'Preferenes-Recent' changes.

The issue is the location of the preference. It applies solely to https://en.wikipedia.beta.wmflabs.org/wiki/Special:NewPages . However, this is confusing since it's under the 'Recent changes' tab.
Possible solutions:
- Change it to "Hide patrolled pages from Special:NewPages" (but I don't know anywhere else we use the page name like this on preferences)
- Change tab from 'Recent changes' to 'Recent changes and logs'
- ?
We can move these preferences pretty easily, but should do so thoughtfully.

If it really applies only to the New Pages page, couldn't we do something on that page? E.g., "Hide new pages" is an option on that page; what if we just made it so the settings there were sticky? Then we could get rid of this preference.
Assuming this task is about Edit-Review-Improvements-RC-Page, hence adding project tag so others can find this task when searching for tasks under that project or looking at that project workboard.
