When upgrading, MediaWiki should show what new SQL has been applied
Closed, DeclinedPublic

Description

This is a feature request.

When running the on the web updater and running the update it shows all the sql applied even if it is not being applied as it has already been applied. What it should do also is at the bottom show the new schema being applied. Makes easier debugging if mediawiki stops working because of sql.

I'm not sure what you mean by SQL in this case. I assume you're referring to schema changes that are applied by the database updater.

As far as I know, the relevant web installer page as well as the cli updater already indicate explicitly in the output at each step whether an update is skipped (already done).
