When adding multiple Wikidata IDs to a map, using the geomask service results in a map that is zoomed in closer than when using the geoshape or geoline services. (Examples.) Autopositioning can also sometimes be poor - the 'two geomasks' example is particularly bad, because it ignores one of the IDs.
