Translate extension changes the link and display title of the base page name if the interface language is the same as the page's content language

Description

Okay, so this is a pretty bizarre one. I just showed it to Amir, and he asked me to report it, but it takes some explanation, but should be reproducible.

Step 1: Go to https://no.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Preferences and set your interface language to nb (Norwegian Bokmål) (Tested, this step is not necessary)
Step 2: Go to https://no.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Spesial:Spr%C3%A5kstatistikk&x=D&language=nb (Special:LanguageStats in Norwegian). This is a list of all translatable pages on our chapter wiki.
Step 3: Open every page in a separate tab. Switch between the tabs. You will see that the title of the page, which links to the base page for translation, within a few seconds changes from the correct page name to "Mal:Sidebunn" (which is the top page in Special:LanguageStats, probably not a coincidence). It happens a couple of seconds after changing to that tab.

This only happens when the page for translation is in Bokmål (e.g. your interface language is the same as the content language of the page you're translating). It does not seem to happen on Meta when I set my interface language to English. It does happen for the page "Årsmøte 2017/Årsmelding 2016" if your interface language is set to nn (Norwegian Nynorsk).
