We need to send a thank you email (non-tax receipt) to a bunch of donors, I think around 700 in total. Is there a limit on how many people we can email via the Mailing function in Civi?

I was thinking of creating a group and then creating an email template and then emailing the group this email. Do you think this would work?

I've been chatting to Adam about this issue and he mentioned if we schedule the mailing the limit might not be an issue.

I've created a test mailing, but it only had 4 contacts in it so I can't if it would work. Here's the draft:

Do you know if we schedule the mailings we could email more than 50?

Caitlin C is happy to help us out for the above donors, but we've also just realised this is going to be an ongoing issue and we'd love MGF and foundations be able to do this ourselves via Civi is possible.

Any thoughts or idea on this?
