To fix this temporarily, a new line had be inserted between the "|" marking the start of the table entry and the * marking the start of the list, in at least 3 instances.

If the lead "|" is omitted, a warning about "fostered content" is generated.

If the first list item "*" is placed immediately after the "|" then it's status as a list item marker is ignored.

Would it be possible for this to be documented?
