@Framawiki hi, you can build your own dashboard with https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/dashboard/ so you can choose what you want to see.

The last comment is unrelated to the valid ("default") situation described in this task.

Yes, in particular for news and anonymous users.

Can a phab admin edit https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/dashboard/arrange/1/ to remove Latest Posts widget ?

Aklapper claimed this task.

Thanks for the ping. I've removed W647.

I'm not sure removing was the right direction, It didn't hurt anyone with not being the most updated blog and if people were concerned it not being used enough we could have just suggested to people to post more, I know @mmodell generally used it for large phab updates etc.

When there have been no posts for nine months it is the right direction.
Widget could always be readded.
Anyone can suggest to people to post more.

Should probably revert as per T166110#3285687 but...
Going to https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/dashboard/arrange/1/ and clicking "Add Existing Panel" at the bottom and entering W647 in the field shows no results.
This behavior is annoying.

This works on my test instance, however, even after reindexing all dashboard widgets I still can't find that one in the search...
