Description

I would like to have the NDA group added to my phabricactor account for

Tasks that may include details that are personal therefore an NDA is required to view details, such as Phabricator Pastes, bug reports for tools and other projects I actively maintain.

I'm aware that NDA rights are something to use maturely, and appropriately. I understand that NDA is a legal document and failure to comply with the NDA could result in legal actions by WMF and/or parties involved. I have signed any/all appropriate NDA documents (already accessible by me) before requesting NDA rights. Any further questions, can be asked by emailing myself, this task, or on IRC.

What's needed here, according to the wiki page:

the reasoning behind your request
It is better to explain your use case and needs than it is to ask for specific permissions
Wikimedia Foundation employees supporting your request (CCed)

@Aklapper, the reasoning is the bulleted item, the use case is explained in the bulleted item and I'm find employees that are able to support my request, as I dont want to CC employees all willy nilly.

@Zppix: Are there any bug reports for tools and other projects you actively maintain which are under WMF-NDA and that you cannot access?
Currently the reasoning feels theoretical, and theoretical argumentations are not convincing use cases...

@Aklapper I help with some with operations-related things, which with it being operations could sometimes involve NDA things.

@Zppix: Do you have a specific example for a task that you needed to access lately but could not? Again, "could" is very theoretical. See my previous comment.

@Aklapper not with a task that I "specifically needed" access to but if granted NDA access it would allow me to take on/assist with more tasks that are NDA-bound.

For the time being I am going to decline this task, since it feels premature (no WMF employees supporting the request listed yet) and the current argumentation lacks covering which specific areas require the requester to have access. (It feels a bit similar to "If you make me an admin I can help with admin stuff" which is very generic.)

Please do reopen this task once support has been expressed and once the request is less theoretical. Thanks a lot!
