I like this idea; are you talking about taking the existing translations (the ones on each language's wiki, usually imported together with the main one from ENWP with a HTTPS request) and making them centrally available or something?

The global idea is to have a central repository for scripts and gadgets, where developers can work together. Then communities just need to import the script.

Have the translations centrally available would be much better then. Why not on translatewiki where the community is more reactive?
