@Jdforrester-WMF: Then I rephrase the task: Make all popups large, except the ones that are marked explicitly otherwise. The larger is usually the better—a short text can better be edited in a large box than vice versa. This way no unsupported extension will become supported, still the content become editable. Anyways, what’s the problem with making not A-grade extensions a bit more usable? WMF employees should not “waste” their working hours for it? Then just wait, probably a volunteer (like me) will fix it. Not considering an extension and explicitly denying to fix it are two different things; I can understand sometimes the former but no ways the latter.
