Introduction to Wikifab (a suite of extensions to create an Instructables-like MediaWiki)
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Wikifab is a suite of extensions for MediaWiki that aims to turn your Mediawiki into a Instructables-like wiki (a wiki where pages are turn into structured work instructions and technical guides).

In this session, I'll give you an overview of Wikifab: What it is, what it can do, how to install it and how to collaborate to improve the code.

Among the extensions that "makes" Wikifab, the main are:

  • Visual Editor
  • Semantic Mediawiki
  • Page Form
  • Translate (hopefully available after this week-end)

Come, see and ask any questions about Wikifab! :)

If you want to take a look before or during the session:

@ClemFlip: Anything left to do in this task (like defining follow-up actions after this Hackathon 2017 session), or can this be resolved, or should this remain open (under which active project)? Thanks a lot! :)

Hi @Aklapper, I just closed the task. Thanks for the reminder. ;)
