Description

surfaceWaterBodyCategory specifies the administrative entity which best describes the item, hence it should be used as P31.

Note though that there is nothing preventing an item from being e.g. both a physical lake and a lake water body. This is however not guaranteed.

Investigate if there is a way of detecting when a swb only covers part of the physical body of water

Looking in the xml files there seems to be no way of determining the relation to the physical water mass.

For future reference:
SE652258-139250 and SE653974-137560 are two examples of Vänern parts (the second has a Wikidata item).
