When setting up the new config for the Chinese language analysis plugins (SmartCN and STConvert), I left an old config in place that turns on SmartCN for zh-hans (simplified Chinese). That's reasonable on the face of it, but because of the fallback languages (see T147959), this would enable SmartCN for Gan (gan), Nuosu (ii), Wu (wuu), and Zhuang (za). Nuosu is a more closely related to Burmese, and the Zhuang family to Thai and Lao, so those are particularly inappropriate.
