Categories created by editors should not require administrative review on ar.wiki
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Hello, I noticed in ar.wiki that categories created by editors need administrative review although categories created by editors should be autopatrol. (see here)

Note that in ar.wiki editor is a user right with a special characteristics.

It seems it is because they have autoreview right but do not have autopatrol right. Maybe assigning autopatrol right to all holders of autoreview right will solve this.

@Urbanecm Should I open a discuss in ar.wiki?

I think it isn't needed - this is definitely a bug.

@Urbanecm Thanks for replay. So who can fix it?

We :). I'll just add autopatrol to that group, we'll see if it'll help.

Change 369414 had a related patch set uploaded (by Urbanecm; owner: Urbanecm):
[operations/mediawiki-config@master] Assign autopatrol to all holders of autoreview on arwiki

Will deploy this in evening SWAT today.
