It went quite well, and got a lot of informal positive feedback from community members. Comms suggested that we might want to do it as a blog in future. We should think about doing a new one, talking about all the things we've done in 2016–2017 and all the things we hope to do in 2017–2018. Alternatively, we could do a bigger piece for the whole of Contributors, which might make more sense overall.
Hi @Jdforrester-WMF I like the idea of doing this as a blog piece, which could then be posted on the other forums. As a way to help the audience parse this information, I recommend setting it up as follows:

What we're working on to meet those goals:
What we've changed / why we've changed them.
All of these can have subcategories. I read through your status update and think this might be a way to help the audience parse the paragraphs. Also happy to discuss via chat, here, or a scheduled chat!
