All the authors added their text. We deliberatly avoided merging and polishing the whole text, so we can choose to move one of the pieces before or after the others. @MelodyKramer and @EdErhart-WMF please let us know how you would cut/adjust the text. Thanks!

I just re-read everything, fixed a couple of typos. I also added Wikimedia Italy after my name.
Please proof everything again.
I also added a comment with a couple of links for a specific picture. About that, until the end of the week I could take additional pictures of the Archivio, if you think that the event pictures are not suitable for the blog post.
