In a conversation on mw.org I had a side chat with another user. That makes the thread long and derails it :)
I'd like to be able to make a fold or something that says "OT comments here", so that people need to actively click on it to see what it's about. Or make it a different color, whatever :)
I think wikis use a variety of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Hidden and Co. for that on talk pages.
