Description

What happened:

First highlighted the text to move
Then dragged it to the position I wanted it to go
Finally when the text above that section disappeared, I hoped I might get it back by switching to source editing

Reported by User:Johnragla, who was editing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huntly_Railway_Station while using Chrome Version 57.0.2987.133 (64-bit) on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4 (16E195), at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback/Archive_2017_1#Text_disappeared_during_editing.2C_when_I_tried_to_drag_wording_down_the_page

I can't reproduce this. Transient issue?

Ed did track down what was causing this in Safari (T168901), so there's a chance there's a related-but-harder-to-trigger Chrome issue. Webkit cousins, and all.

There's not much for us to do if we can't reproduce this...
